Tonight, we gather to honor excellence, dedication, and leadership in the trucking industry. It is my distinct pleasure to present the prestigious 2024 Grand Trophy Award — an accolade that stands as one of the highest honors within our association. This award is not given lightly; it is reserved for a company that exemplifies the very best of what our industry represents: safety, professionalism, integrity, and community engagement.
Each year, we look for an organization that sets a powerful example for others—one that goes above and beyond to serve not only their customers and employees but also their community and this industry. This year’s recipient has done exactly that.
Their safety record is extraordinary. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s SAFER website, their violation and out-of-service rates are consistently below national averages.
Even more impressively, they have had no reportable accidents or fatalities in the past 24 months.
Their satisfactory rating with the FMCSA underscores the strength of their safety programs and their unwavering focus on protecting their team and the motoring public.
But safety is just one part of their story. This company has also built a strong reputation for its flexibility and customer-focused operations. By listening to and understanding their clients’ needs, they deliver customized solutions that reduce wasted time and eliminate unnecessary phone calls. Their attention to service allows them to form long-standing partnerships — especially in the Wine and Spirits industry, where they’ve been a trusted transportation provider for over 40 years.
They have also been a steadfast supporter of our association, contributing time, resources, and leadership in ways that have strengthened our events, our programs, and our voice as an industry. From ownership to every member of the team, they reflect a culture built on professionalism, service, and a deep sense of responsibility.
